• Michael will run the newly founded H.E.A.T Mezzanine Advisory GmbH as Managing Director and Partner, focusing on managing the existing H.E.AT Mezzanine portfolios on behalf of HSBC Trinkaus as Transaction Advisor. Additionally, Michael and his team are targeting the development of a new fund raising fresh money for the existing portfolio companies and qualified German SME's.
• Before managing H.E.A.T Mezzanine Avisory, Michael headed the Strucutured Solutions Group at HSBC Trinkaus as Managing Director, responsible for structured credit, structured rates and managing the H.E.A.T Mezzanine transactions with a dedicated team. In his most recent position he reported to the German board member of HSBC Trinkaus.
• Through job rotation he has had jobs in different areas of German and foreign banks in the segments of private banking, corporate and investment banking.
• In the last 15 years, Michael was in top management levels in investment banking / markets.

• As one of the leading managers in the area of standard mezzanine, Michael has built up several years of asset management expertise in this segment, being also responsible for structuring, origination and placement of these capital market transactions.

• Before joining H.E.A.T Mezzanine Advisory, Andreas worked as Director of Strucutured Solutions Group for HSBC Trinkaus. His tasks among others have been Transaction Advisory Services, company monitoring including financial and operative evaluation, periodic management reviews. Member of steering committees and bank pools including evaluation and coordination of company measures.
• Prior to HSBC Trinkaus, Andreas has been working for 12 years as a turnaround and restructuring manager. Managing several restructuring cases of small and medium sized companies between EUR 25 and 300 Mio. turnover, Andreas held different C-level functions (CEO, CFO, CRO). His assignments included preparation & implementation of restructuring concepts, operative support, interim management as well as registered manager. Further, he closed multiple distressed M&A cases.

• Markus graduated in Business Administration at the University of Regensburg with focuses on Corporate Finance and Marketing.
• Before joining H.E.A.T Mezzanine Advisory, he was project manager at Berenberg Bank's Corporate Finance advisory subsidiary for nine years focusing on SME M&A transactions. Subsequently, he worked as director for a mezzanine fund advisory company for five years. He was responsible for the Monitoring / Recovery Management department.
• On the job he gathered in-depth experience in credit assessment, business valuation, business analysis and financial planning, sale and purchase agreements and portfolio management.

• Philipp graduated in Business Administration at the RWTH Aachen with a focus on accounting and auditing.
• Before joining H.E.A.T Mezzanine Advisory, he worked one year in audit for a big four company and afterwards in total four years for a management consulting company, in particular in turnaround and restructuring situations and also for KPMG, Service Line Advisory Restructuring.
• His main focuses include business analysis plus creation and implementation of turnaround conceptions. He aggregated his project experiences in various engagements predominantly in mid-cap companies in various industries.

Experience

• Before starting at H.E.A.T Mezzanine Advisory, Katja worked at HSBC Trinkaus' Treasury Research since 2008. In addition to administrative activities her main focus included maintenance of quantitative bond valuation models. She worked on daily, weekly and monthly publications and was among other things responsible for monitoring the issuance activities of the euro zone member states at the government bond and money market. Moreover, she supported the analysts by graphical and tabular data processing.

• Before joining H.E.A.T Mezzanine Advisory, Simone worked with HSBC Trinkaus as a Team Assistant for the departments Private Asset Management, New Issues & Transaction Development as well as for Structured Solutions Group.
• Her main focus includes the support of the team by taking over processing duties, communication with customers as well as by organizing business trips and meetings.
